Subsequent to the first meeting Nana Tanno II has visited the community again and this time extended the outreach to the entire community where Muslims and their families gave their lives to Christ. The theme re-emphasized from that outreach into the next year is “Change is coming” and the response is “It is here!”. Nana Tanno II now envisages a sustained Bible based faith lessons for the new converts and prepare them for baptism.

On a second visit to Fawomanyo, Nana Tanno paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive (DCE) and Odefo Afankwa III, Paramount Chief of Breman Essiam. The DCE apologized for his absence during the durbar, however he expressed his commitment to support Fawomanyo achieve her potentials. He requested that the development strategy, objectives and potentials be shared with him so there would be logical point of intervention from the Assembly.

Odefo Afankwa III also reiterated his good will and commitment to lending the support hand whenever the need arises or a door of opportunity opens. He also promised to tap into and make available the opportunity presented by the One-District-One factory as well as planting for food and employment, which are all government policies to benefit the people of Fawomayo.

The DCE visited Fawomanyo the next day to greet Nana Tanno II and his elders and also for a reconnaissance of the village. Nana and community elders. The group was taken on a tour of the village to the Okye River where a discussion for a bridge over the river to Nsuoakyi was identified as very necessary to increase communication and commerce between the two villages.

The DCE further promised to investigate and revive the agro processing machines set up about five years ago. He requested that a committee be set up work to facilitate the realization of this project within the shortest possible time. The main road through Fawomanyo he said would also see some work done on it. Another discussion point was the creation of a dam for vegetable and fish farming in the community.

The tour of the village also took the team to the Basic school where an inspection of the facilities was carried out. The cookery site for the school feeding programme was also inspected among other areas in the community.

The tour was successful and established a good rapport that will be used to attract development to the people of Fawomanyo.
